Tyler Perry's "Madea Gets A Job" Set to Take the Stage

Tyler Perry’s “Madea Gets A Job” will take the stage this fall, starring Tyler Perry. After an overwhelming demand for his stage appearance, the ol’ broad gets back in action. The tour will stop at PNC Arena Oct. 20 for two performances.

In this performance, hard times (and the judge) caught up with Madea and she is forced to come out of retirement to go to work. Still on probation, Madea is not a star candidate for employment, no way, no how but she has to fulfill her community service obligations. In Tyler Perry’s “Madea Gets a Job”, Madea’s unconventional job highlights an inevitable situation we must face – getting old. You will find that nursing homes can put a strain on family relationships and discover the hardships some families encounter after making that most important decision for our loved ones. Madea, lady of pure wit and wholesome wisdom brings out the best of a situation (and there are a lot of situations in this production). She will always tell you the truth whether you like it or not.

The show is high-spirited and uplifting from a collection of talented and exceptionally seasoned cast. There are many twists and turns with a surprise ending.

Tickets are on sale now at the PNC Arena box office, Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone 800-745-3000 or online at Ticketmaster.com.
