Carolina Hurricanes Game to be Played as Scheduled Jan. 11

RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that tonight’s game against the Calgary Flames will be played as scheduled.

Season ticket holders are reminded that should they be unable to use their tickets for tonight’s game, they are able to exchange them for tickets to one of the following designated exchange games: Jan. 18 vs. Boston, Feb. 1 vs. Boston, Feb. 22 vs. NY Rangers, March 9 vs. Atlanta, March 18 vs. NY Islanders or March 30 vs. Montreal. In addition, all other paying fans for tonight’s game who are unable to attend will be extended that same opportunity to exchange tickets for one of the designated season ticket holder exchange games. Such exchanges must be made at the Time Warner Cable Box Office at the RBC Center during regular operating hours beginning Thursday, Jan. 13. Fans must have their tickets in-hand when making their exchanges.

Teachers who have received tickets for tonight’s game through their schools as part of the Hurricanes’ annual Teacher Appreciation Night may exchange their unused tickets for tickets to a pre-determined Hurricanes game through their respective schools.
