Bon Jovi Announces 2011 Tour

Bon Jovi 2011 Tour, promoted by AEG Live, is set to kick off in North America this February with tickets going on sale beginning in November.

As Bon Jovi’s No. 1 tour closes out 2010 with concerts in Spain, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, the iconic band will ring in 2011 with newly announced worldwide dates in the U.S., Canada and throughout Europe. In November 9th (in the U.S. and Canada), the release of Bon Jovi’s GREATEST HITS collections will transport listeners back in time through the band’s worldwide monster hits, and offer a bridge to the future with the debut of four brand new tracks – “What Do You Got?,” “The More Things Change,” “No Apologies,” and “This Is Love, This Is Life.” These new songs were written and recorded specifically for inclusion in these compilations, which fans can pre-order now and receive free instant downloads of the exclusive unreleased track “This Is Our House” as well as the new single “What Do You Got.” The compilations, available in both double and single CD packages, are chock full of Bon Jovi’s biggest chart-toppers including “Livin’ On A Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” and more.

Bon Jovi has also confirmed an impressive schedule of upcoming events and appearances, beginning with the hit U.K. TV show The X Factor on October 31st. On November 7th the band will be presented with the Global Icon award at MTV EMAs 2010, which will be broadcast live from Madrid, Spain. On November 8th, at 7:30 p.m. local time, NCM Fathom and AEG Network Live will present Bon Jovi—The Circle Tour, a special in-theater event that captures the magic and energy of the band’s sold-out, four-night stand at New Jersey’s New Meadowlands Stadium. The group kicks off their U.S. TV performances with CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman on the November 9th GREATEST HITS release date; followed by NBC’s The Today Show (Nov. 12th); A&E’s Private Sessions (Nov. 17th); ABC’s American Music Awards (Nov. 21st); CNN’s Larry King Live (interview only, Nov. 22nd); the syndicated Ellen show (Nov. 23rd); and CNN’s Heroes (Nov. 25th).
