NC State Wolfpack

Dare to Dream.

After celebrating 50 years in the historic Reynolds Coliseum, the NC State Wolfpack began a new chapter with a move to the PNC Arena (formerly RBC Center), in 1999.

The men’s basketball program has two National Championships, four Final Four appearances, and numerous Conference Tournament Championships under their belt. The most memorable run was the Cardiac Pack’s 1983 National Championship, led by the courageous Jim Valvano.

In just one season, NC State head coach Mark Gottfried has led a resurgence of the Wolfpack basketball program, propelling it back into the national spotlight. In his second year, Gottfried returns four starters from last season's squad that earned its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2006 and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2005. It's not hard to see why there's an excitement among the Wolfpack faithful for the 2012-13 season.

The action and excitement of ACC basketball in North Carolina is a way of life on Tobacco Road with friendly rivalries among Triangle Universities UNC Chapel Hill and Duke.
