A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert Rescheduled

RBC Center Concert Will Take Place Wed., Sept. 29, 2010 at 7:30PM

Officials with the “A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour” announced that the newly rescheduled date will be Wed., Sept. 29, 2010. The North American leg of the tour was originally postponed due to production damages. A newly rescheduled date is required as Rahman will perform at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India. The original July 11 concert at the RBC Center will be rescheduled to Wed., Sept. 29, 2010 at 7:30PM. 

A.R. Rahman was forced to cancel his June 19 show in Detroit due to a structure collapse which damaged the set. The incident occurred during stage construction. No one was seriously injured. All remaining dates for the North American leg have been rescheduled due to the incident. Mr. Rahman regrets any inconvenience this causes his fans and is deeply grateful no one from his team or the local Detroit stage crew was seriously injured.

Tickets for the previous dates will be honored for the Sept. 29 show. Ticket holders that are unable to attend the rescheduled concert can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase.
